You Don't Need Your Knots -- We Knead Your Knots
There are seven known viruses that infect
humans. The four “cold” viruses affect the upper respiratory tract and
cause symptoms such as sore throat or runny nose and are responsible for
about 15% of common colds
There is no known cure for these viruses, and
there is currently no research into the effect essential oils may have
on these three viruses. Essential oils considered to be “antiviral” are
not universal virus killers. “Antiviral” means that a compound inhibits
the proliferation of a virus, while “Virucidal” means having the
capacity to or tending to destroy or inactivate viruses.
For example, Tea
tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) essential oil inhibits the proliferation
of influenza viruses inside cells (making it antiviral) and is often
used to help battle a bacterial infection and can stimulate the immune
system.
Clove, Ginger, Eucalyptus and Rosemary
Essential Oils are known to strengthen the immune system, and Turmeric's
immune-boosting benefits can support the body's response in dealing with
bacteria. The combination of biological compounds in these oils ward off
invaders, cleanse the respiratory tract, kill harmful germs build
immunity and keep inflammation in control.
